The importance of making a Will cannot be over-stressed. Each Will is tailor made for the client, and takes into consideration his or her personal financial and family circumstances and commitments, as well as matters relating to Inheritance Tax.
If you do not have a Will you can find that your estate passes to the wrong people. There are rules which govern who inherits your assets if you have no Will.
The cost of making a Will can sometimes put people off. However, for a simple Will for an individual we charge only £70 including Vat; and for simple Wills for couples only £120 including Vat. Even if your Will is more complicated, the cost would rarely be more than £200.
In discussing your Will you will always deal with one of our Partners, and your initial meeting or discussion with us is entirely free of charge, even where we see you at home rather than in our office.
